Chicken Meatballs

1 lb ground chicken 

1 egg 

¾ cup panko bread crumbs 

3 tbsp onion, minced 

½ tsp ginger, minced 

2 cloves garlic, minced 

½ tsp salt 

¼ tsp pepper 

Orange Sauce

⅓ cup fresh orange juice 

¼ cup Coconut Secret Aminos 

1 tsp sesame oil 

1 tsp orange zest 

2 tbsp brown sugar 

2 tbsp sweet chili sauce 

½ tsp red pepper flakes 

2 tsp cornstarch 

2 tsp water 

Green onion, garnish 

Sesame seeds, garnish 




    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray the baking sheet with cooking spray or use parchment paper to keep the meatballs from sticking.
    2. In a large bowl combine chicken, egg, bread crumbs, minced onion, ginger, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix ingredients until well combined.
    3. Roll the mixture into small meatballs and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes turning once halfway through.


    1. In a medium size skillet, heat sesame oil. Add the rest of the sauce ingredients. 2. Mix 2 tsp cornstarch with water. Slowly add mixture to the sauce. Continue to simmer over medium low heat until the sauce begins to thicken. Remove sauce from heat and coat each meatball.
    2. Serve with a bed of rice or alone.
    3. Garnish with green onion and toasted sesame seeds.
