Orders & Shipping

Most orders will be shipped within 1 to 2 business days after receiving the order. We will notify you if the order may be delayed because of out of stock items.

We offer Free Shipping on all continental U.S. retail orders over $49.00. Sorry, no Free Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii. Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii will be charged the actual shipping rates.

On orders less than $49.00, we charge our actual discounted UPS rates or Post Office (USPS) rates.

We ship to the continental U.S. via UPS and to Alaska, Hawaii, and PO Boxes via USPS Priority Mail. We do not ship to Canada, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, APO, or FPO addresses. Live in a region where Nutiva does not ship web orders? Please visit iHerb  to place an order.

Nutiva uses UPS as our primary carrier for Ground shipping. Orders of less than 10 lbs. may be shipped by UPS SurePost and the Post Office may do the final delivery, so a street address is necessary. If the Post Office does not deliver to your street address please use your PO Box for orders of less than 10 pounds. We ship to the continental U.S. via UPS Ground and UPS SurePost. We ship to PO Boxes, Alaska, and Hawaii via USPS Priority Mail.

Orders are shipped from Richmond, California and are usually sent within 1 to 2 business days of receiving the order. We will notify you if the order may be delayed because of out of stock items. UPS takes another 5 to 7 business days to reach most areas of the U.S., depending on weather or other unforeseen delays. UPS is currently not offering a Guaranteed Delivery Date except for Air services. The Post Office may take significantly longer. You should receive an automatic shipment confirmation email with the tracking number. Please check your Junk email folder or Promotions tab if you don't see the email. We do not recommend using AOL email for placing orders or communicating with Customer Service.

Expedited Service: Customers will be billed exact charges for UPS Next Day, 2-Day, or 3-Day service. NOTE: Please Contact Us before placing an order requiring Expedited Service! Remember that not all orders can be shipped the same day.

If you choose, you may return unopened products in your order within 45 days of receipt to:

Remember to include a copy of your packing slip (or a piece of paper, your order ID number, name, address, email address, and phone number) and a note with the reason for your return so we know who to credit for the return. Once we have received it we will credit the card used to charge the order.

Alternatively, we can send you a pre-paid UPS return label for your return and we would deduct our discounted rate for shipping from your refund.

45-DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

At Nutiva, Inc., we proudly stand behind our products and our quality controls. If you are not completely satisfied with one of our products you purchased from nutiva.com or from one of our authorized sellers, please contact customer service within 45 days of the date of purchase to request a refund or a replacement product.

Refund options: nutiva.com online coupon, in-store coupon, or a product exchange - no cash refunds.

Please note that because we are unable to control the quality of our products sold by unauthorized sellers, unless otherwise prohibited by law, the Guarantee is not available for products purchased from unauthorized sellers. All products must be returned to the original retailer where they were purchased. This Guarantee is also limited to the original, end user purchaser.

How to Claim the Guarantee:
To submit a Guarantee request, please email us at help@nutiva.com or call us at 1-800-993-4367 and have the following information available:

  • Which product this is and its size
  • A picture of the Best Before date and Lot code on the package
  • The product UPC or Barcode number
  • Where and when you purchased your product.

In some cases, such as when a product may have caused a customer to experience an adverse reaction, you may be required to return the product to us for inspection.

We reserve the right to deny any return or refunds if we believe the return or refund is not made in good faith. The return and refund policy is subject to change without notice.
