Ingredients:

4 oz pineapple juice

3 oz orange juice

2 oz Nutiva coconut washed rum (see how to make below)

Note: Feel free to customize a pineapple and orange juice blend to your liking! You can also use 1 ½ oz of rum, depending on how many trails you’d like to blaze!
Instructions:
In a shaker, mix together the pineapple juice, orange juice, and coconut washed rum. Add ice to chill and shake or stir well.
Fill each glass about halfway with ice, and pour in the tropical rum punch blend. Then gently pour a little grenadine into each glass, giving the drink a 'sunset' effect.
Garnish with fruit, umbrella, or flower and paper straw.
Fat Wash Rum With Coconut Oil
Because coconut oil has a mellow flavor, this recipe works best with white rum. It’s light-bodied, so you’re better able to pick up the tropical, coconut flavor. Here’s how to fat-wash rum with coconut oil.How to make coconut washed rum:
Ingredients
1 cup white rum (8 oz)
1 oz coconut oil
Instructions:
Melt the coconut oil.
Pour the rum into a sealable jar.
Pour the oil over the rum. Seal the jar and shake vigorously.
Let the mixture rest at room temperature for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Place the container in the freezer for 24 hours.
Remove the container from the freezer.
Cut holes in the fat and pour the alcohol into a clean glass bottle lined with a coffee filter.
What Exactly Is Fat Washing?
Fat washing is the process of infusing the flavors of a fatty substance into a spirit. It’s an old perfume maker’s technique of infusing plants into odorless fat and then using a solvent like alcohol to extract the essential oils.
Mixologists employ a similar technique by melting fat like coconut oil or butter and pouring it into their desired spirit. From there, they allow the mixture to sit at room temperature so the alcohol can extract the fat’s flavors. The spirit is then chilled in a freezer and the solidified fat gets separated from the alcohol through a filter or fine strainer.
