    I have used the shortening for pie crust and it turned out great. However, when I used it in cookies, they were dry. Any suggestions to remedy this will be appreciated. I have to stay away from dairy, so this was a great find. I just need help to get my cookies to turn out right.

    Haven’t yet made the Cheddar & Sage Buttermilk Biscuits, but once I checked out the recipe, then bookmarked it to my MAC’S baking book, I knew how fortunate I was to have come across your recipe. Just to let you know, since I don’t use anything by Einkorn flour, which I grind from berries at home, that will what I use for the recipe’s flour ingredient. Tschuess…
