    Could it be used to pan fry with?……on top of the stove at med and just slightly higher? I’m not sure what temp. That would be. I no longer have am electric skillet.

      Hi Dana,
      The smoke point for the red palm oil is 300°F, if you pan fry between low to medium heat and remain below 300 degrees, this should work fine. Good luck!

    I have an unopened jar of red palm oil with expiry dec 2016 – any chance it’s not bad? How will I know if it’s bad?

    Can I mix the red palm oil with any fruit for a smoothie or any particular Will ve better?? Can I run or put red palm oil in a one year scar to lighten it up and heal faster?? Thanks.

    In Brazil palm oil is called Dende. I use it in my black bean stew(feijoada). I also use it when I make crockpot recipes using veggies. But, I discovered it works well in my gluten free brownies.
