To make this you only need three ingredients: 

  • 1 pint strawberries, 
  • 2/3 cup Nutiva’s Hazelnut Spread,
  • and nuts (amount to your taste).

How to make it:

    1. Prepare the strawberries by washing them and slicing them in half. Once sliced, make a small space in the center for the spread.
    2. Put Nutiva’s Hazelnut Spread into a clear bag (a piping bag if you have one), create a small hole in the corner of the bag and pipe the spread unto the grooves in the strawberries.
    3. Top your snack with nuts (you can mix and match to your preference) and put in the fridge until ready to serve.

How to make it:

  • 3 bananas,

  • ¼ cup peanut butter, 
  • ¼ cup non-fat vanilla Greek yogurt.

How to make it:

a. Prep a baking sheet with some parchment paper.

b. Slice bananas into small chunks.

c. Stir Nutiva’s Hazelnut Spread, peanut butter and yogurt in a bowl until fully mixed.

d. Spread the mixture unto a banana slice and top with another slice to make a sandwich and place the bite-sized sandwiches on the baking sheet.

e. Freeze the bites for two hours and then transfer them to a closed container until ready to consume.

  1. Chocolate Hazelnut Granola

At a 40 minutes total time, but only 10 of active preparation, this recipe takes a bit more time but it’s still pretty easy; also, you can prepare a batch at the beginning of the week and then have your breakfasts or snacks covered for the rest of it as it will last around 7 days if stored in an airtight container. 

To prepare around 10 servings of this granola you’ll need:

  • 3½ cups of old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup hazelnuts chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup Nutiva’s Hazelnut Spread
  • ¼ cup avocado oil (you can also coconut oil or grapeseed oil)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup mini sweet-chocolate chips

How to make it:

a. Preheat your oven to 325º F.

b. Line a baking sheet tray with a silicone baking mat or parchment and set aside.

c. Combine all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. (rolled oats and hazelnuts)

d. In a separate microwave-safe bowl, microwave the spread for 30 seconds, or until melted, and add the oil and vanilla extract. Whisk until incorporated.

e. Pour the liquid mix over the nuts and stir until everything is well coated.

f. Move the oat blend onto the baking sheet tray and pat the mixture down into one even layer. Bake for 15 minutes, rotate the pan and bake for an extra 12 to 15 minutes.

g. Remove the tray from the oven and let the granola cool completely.

h. Transfer the granola into a bowl and add the chocolate chips. Mix well.

If you want even more of a hazelnut flavor you can also switch the vanilla extract for hazelnut extract!

  • 3-4 tbs Nutiva’s Hazelnut Spread
  • 1 ripe banana

How to make it:

a. Heat a skillet over medium heat, if you have a cast iron one even better.

b. Spread some coconut oil on the sides of the bread that will touch the skillet, and then Nutiva’s Hazelnut Spread on the other side.

c. Slice the banana and place the slices on top of one of the bread slices and place the other one on top.

d. Press the sandwich on the hot skillet and grill until golden brown on both sides (2-4 minutes per side).

e. Slice in half and serve.

This sandwich is better consumed fresh of the stove for maximum crisp. If you’re looking for some extra flair, you can add strawberries, peanut butter, and/or some cinnamon.
