How to Build the Best Smoothie Bowl

After a lot of trial-and-error, practicing, and of course tasting, we have figured out how to build the best smoothie bowl.

There are several layers to building the best smoothie both. Each layer serves a purpose, and by ensuring you include something from each layer, you’ll be well on your way to making the best smoothie bowl yet.

Below is our layer breakdown with a list of ingredients in each layer.

Base Ingredients

The base to your smoothie bowl is what typically makes up the bulk to the smoothie bowl. If this ingredient is frozen prior to blending, the smoothie bowl will turn out thicker.

Green Add-Ins

Every great smoothie bowl gets a boost of greens. Even just a handful will help boost your smoothie bowl.

To help blend all ingredients together, a little liquid will go a long way.
