Shipping & Returns

Most orders will be shipped within 1 to 2 business days after receiving the order. We will notify you if the order may be delayed because of out of stock items.

Free Shipping on all continental U.S. retail orders over $49.00. (No Free Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and other U.S. possessions and territories). Appropriate shipping fees will be applied to any orders shipping to these states.

On orders less than $49.00, we apply UPS shipping rates.

We ship to the continental U.S. via UPS, and to Alaska, Hawaii via USPS Priority Mail. We also ship via the USPS to PO Boxes. Live in a region where Nutiva does not ship web orders? Please visit to place an international order.

Nutiva uses UPS as our primary carrier for Ground shipping. Orders of less than 10 lbs. may be shipped by UPS SurePost and the Post Office may do the final delivery, so a street address is necessary. Please email in advance of your shipment if you do not want your order shipped via UPS Sure Post. We ship to the continental U.S. via UPS Ground and UPS SurePost. We ship to PO Boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and APO and FPO addresses via USPS Priority Mail.”

Orders are shipped from Richmond, California and are usually sent within 1 to 2 business days of receiving the order. UPS takes another 5 to 7 business days to reach some areas of the U.S., depending on weather. You should receive an automatic shipment confirmation email with the tracking number.

Expedited Service

Customers will be billed exact charges for UPS Next Day, 2-Day or 3-Day service.


Temporary Change to our Returns Policy

Due to the COVID- 19 pandemic, in order to ensure the safety of our team, and due to increased demand and low inventory, we are forced to change our policy regarding returns and replacements.  Effective immediately, we are temporarily unable to accept returns and process replacements. Refunds will be issued for missing or damaged items at the discretion of our Customer Service team. This is a temporary policy and will evolve as things change. Please know that we’ll continue to do all we can during these uncertain times.


At Nutiva, Inc., we proudly stand behind our products and our quality controls.  If you are not completely satisfied with one of our products you purchased from or from one of our authorized sellers, please contact customer service within 45 days of the date of purchase to request a refund or a replacement product. Please note that because we are unable to control the quality of our products sold by unauthorized sellers, unless otherwise prohibited by law, the Guarantee is not available for products purchased from unauthorized sellers.  This Guarantee is also limited to the original, end user purchaser.
