Vanilla Frosting

This vegan vanilla frosting is perfect with Vanilla Cupcakes and is made with Nutiva Shortening.


  • 1/2 cup Nutiva Organic Shortening
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt
  • 3 tbsp Coconut Milk


  1. Sift confectioners sugar, then whip all ingredients together until smooth.
  2. Spread over cupcakes after they’ve cooled or enjoy as a frosting shot!

    Easy-Peasy! Only change I made was to use 3 tsp of vanilla and I used almond milk rather than coconut because that is what I had on hand. Otherwise perfect!
