This MCT Carrot Cake Walnut Butter is fall’s perfect pairing.

The Carrot Cake flavor was a favorite for so many people, and it was supposed to be a seasonal flavor when I owned A Loving Spoon nut butters.
We never ended up fully producing it, and instead, the original recipe was shared when I gave away all A Loving Spoon nut butter recipes.

The MCT Carrot Cake Walnut Butter is filled with an incredible flavor profile that brings out the best in vanilla mixed with all the fall spices.
You shouldn’t expect this nut butter to be thin, super spreadable and creamy.
Instead, the MCT Carrot Cake Walnut Butter is thicker and cakier, on purpose.

This is a nut butter you can still put on things like rice cakes and pair with fruit, but it’s also one that you’ll enjoy straight out of the jar or mixed into a smoothie.
Of course, the bonus to this version, versus the original, is the addition of Nutiva’s Organic MCT Oil. The recipe is packed with flavor and all of these things!

Thanks for the recipe! I hope to try it once I get the ingredients. I would like to know if you soak the walnuts before using in the recipe. Can you please tell me if you did so and for how long? Thanks!
