Hemp Walnut Pie Crust

Walnuts and hemp seeds offer a tasty source of Omega-3s in this quick and easy raw pie crust. Feel free to fill it with your favorite fruit filling for a no bake pie everyone will love.



  1. Put the walnuts and hemp seeds in a food processor and grind into a course meal. Add the maple syrup and vanilla and blend until well mixed.
  2. Press it onto the bottom of a pie pan and fill with your favorite raw pie filling.

    it concerns me that the walnuts are not soaked as they contain physic acid and enzyme inhibitors.

      Why not keep a supply of presoaked, dried (dehydrator) walnuts on hand for your walnut purposes?
      I keep mine in the freezer if I don’t have an immediate use for them. Drying assures that they add a nice, crispy texture to the pie shell.
