Hemp and Almond Pesto

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Nutiva Organic Hempseed toasted shelled Organic Shelled Hempseed
  • 2/3 cup Almonds sliced
  • 1 bunch Basil
  • 3 tbsp Nutiva Organic Hemp Oil Organic Hemp Oil
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 cups Parmesan Cheese grated

Instructions

  1. Crush seeds, almonds, basil, hemp oil, and olive oil to a paste with a pestle in a mortar.
  2. Mix in the parmesan.
  3. Heat pesto in a pot, being careful not to cook it.
  4. Serve this tasty sauce over your favorite pasta.
  5. Finely cut tomato cubes add refreshing taste and color.
  6. Sufficient for 1 1/2 pounds.
