Espresso Chia Bites
Packed with superfoods, these little bites are great when you need an energy boost!
Ingredients
- 3-4 tbsp Organic Coconut Manna
- Nutiva Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Organic Liquid Coconut Oil
- 2 1/2 tbsp Organic Chia Seed
- 1/3 cup Coconut (shredded)
- 3/4 tsp Espresso Beans (ground)
- 3 tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
- 1 cup Medjool Dates (pitted)
- 1/3 cup Walnuts (chopped)
- 1/8 tsp Sea Salt
Instructions
- Mash dates into a paste and add Coconut Oil & Manna.
- Mix in chia seeds, espresso grounds, cacao, walnuts and salt–mix using your fingers and hands.
- Take about a tablespoon of mixture and roll into balls.
- Roll balls in to your favorite coating–shredded coconut, walnuts or cacao powder. For a powdery cacao effect, roll after chilling.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes and serve.
