Chocolate Chip Cookies
An upgraded recipe for the classic Chocolate Chip Cookie.
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Combine flour, salt and baking soda in a small bowl.
- In a large bowl, blend coconut sugar and shortening, then add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Add vanilla and honey.
- Blend in dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop dough onto a cookie sheet by the teaspoonful, and bake for 12-14 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool, then remove from baking sheet.
