        You told someone else to use the oil up to 300 degrees. Usually baking a cake is at 350 degrees or more. Is it ok to use for cakes? How is the flavor compared to regular vegetable oil in cakes?

      Hi Roberta! We have not personally tried it, but we have been hearing that some are starting to use it. Do note that the color is very vibrant! As an alternative, many have been using both coconut oil and hemp oil. We have written about both on our blog!

    Hmm.. it is said that red palm oil smoking point is 302 F
    Does it mean that I cannot cook with it in high heat?

      Hi! Using any cooking oil over the recommended temperature can result in oxidation, which is thought to have negative health effects. Virgin Coconut Oil can be used at up to 350°F, Refined Coconut Oil can be used at up to 400°F, and Unrefined Red Palm Oil can be used at up to 300°F.
