17 Simple Ways to Use Red Palm Oil

We created a free e-book on 17 Ways to Use Organic Unrefined Red Palm Oil. And because we believe our red palm oil is the best on the market (learn more about the product HERE and HERE), we have put together even more for you with a list of 17 simple ways to use red palm oil.

Red palm oil is a nutrient-dense culinary oil. Its rich orange color reveals the presence of antioxidant vitamins A and E, in the forms of beta-carotene and rare tocotrienols and tocopherols of the vitamin E family. These nutrients provide color to vegetables and fruits such as carrots and tomatoes. Red palm oil also contains at least ten other carotenes, including the antioxidants, tocopherols, and tocotrienols (vitamin E). The end result is a delicious buttery oil with a mild carroty flavor.

Like you, we are concerned about the environmental impacts of most red palm oil, but we can assure you that our red palm oil is sustainable and does not contribute to deforestation, habitat destruction or human rights offenses. In fact, we are a part of the Palm Done Right Campaign.

And since we believe strongly in everything the Palm Done Right Campaign stands for, several of our team members went along with Natural Habitats to organic family farms in Ecuador.

We hope you will join us in only using red palm oil products done right (Hint: all of the below, do)!

Combine oats, almond meal, coconut, and spices in a large bowl. Mix well. In a saucepan, gently melt oil and syrup until combined. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Stir together. Add wet to dry ingredients. Stir again. Pour onto parchment-lined baking sheet and spread out the mixture. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Toss. Bake for another 10 minutes (keeping an eye on it). Remove from oven and let cool completely before mixing in mango and storing. Link: #nutiva #sustainable #redpalmoil #palmdoneright

Okay so I came across this new product from @nutiva — Unrefined Red Palm Oil and I couldn’t wait to create some recipes with it ? This version happens to be fair trade certified, organic, non-GMO, sustainable, habitat friendly and orangutan-safe ?? It is extremely high in antioxidant vitamins A and E, is easily digestible and stable for high heat cooking. Red Palm Oil has a bit of a buttery taste and works well in veggie stirfrys, egg scrambles and popcorn ? {will post a recipe for that soon} I made a roasted veggie medley with lemon & dill haddock from @sizzlefishfit ? Roasted veggie medley • chop red & green bell peppers + mushroom + red onion + baby colored potatoes and add to baking pan. Pour in about 2 tbsp @nutiva Red Palm Oil + turmeric + minced garlic + garlic powder + ground pepper. Mix well and bake at 400℉ for about 45 minutes Lemon & dill haddock • in a pan, heat olive oil + minced garlic on medium. Add in thawed & rinsed haddock. Squeeze lemon juice & season with dill. Cook on both side {about 3-4 min each with lid covering pan- may need to add a splash of chicken stock for added moisture} ? enjoy! .
