Nutiva Buttermilk Pound Cake
Ingredients:
3 Cups Brown Sugar
1 Cup (2 Sticks) Melted Butter
6 Eggs
1- 1/2 Cups of Flour
1- 1/2 Cups of Nutiva Organic Hemp Shake
(Choose Flavor - Amazon Acai, Berry
Pomegranate, or Chocolate or Double
Flour for a more traditional version)
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon of Sea Salt (Iodized)
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg Powder
1 Cup Buttermilk
Directions:
• Set Oven to 350 Degrees.
• Grease Bundt Pan thoroughly with Olive Oil. Set aside.
• In Large Bowl - Combine Brown Sugar and Melted Butter
cream till smooth, add Eggs and stir or whip till combined
= Wet Ingredients.
• In Smaller Bowl - Sift Flour, Nutiva Organic Hemp Shake
Amazon Acai, Cinnamon Powder, Baking Soda, Sea Salt,
Nutmeg Powder (Dry Ingredients)
• Fold in Dry Ingredients into Wet Ingredients and then
finally add Buttermilk and combine till smooth.
• Use spatula to transfer to Bundt Pan.
• Place in Oven for 1 hour and or Clean Fork Test.
• Cool and then flip onto serving plate.
• Sprinkle Top with Honey Powder or Powdered Sugar
