San Francisco World Vegetarian Day to Feature Hemp Foods

Sebastopol, CA -The San Francisco Vegetarian Society is sponsoring a World Vegetarian Celebration event at Fort Mason, Building A in San Francisco on September 30th 2001. "While hemp was used as food in  China long before soy beans, most Americans have never heard of hemp foods" according to John W. Roulac, Nutiva Founder and President and author of 3 best-selling books on hemp.

In his 10 AM, Sunday seminar, Roulac will discuss hempseed nutrition, recipe ideas, and explain "the hemp industry's enormous potential for building a sustainable world." Attendees will be offered samples of delicious and nutritious fresh hemp milk, a richer and more flavorful beverage than rice or soy milk, according to Roulac.
